September 21, 2017 marks the second annual Junior Ring Ceremony here at LOA. Students of the class of 2019 gathered together in the auditorium along with close friends and family to celebrate the happy occasion of receiving their beloved class rings.

Each ring is meant to be a physical reminder of the bond between classmates as well as a representation of each student and their interests in high school. Rings could be customized to include sports, clubs, and organizations that the individual was a member of as well as including the name of the student, their graduation year, and the name of the school.

The event began with the presentation of the rings at 6:00 p.m and was followed by snacks and refreshments. The Ring Staff, comprised of individuals in the class of 2019 include: Lauren Hatfield, Chandler Pearson, Cole Dixon, and Joseph Garcia-Carreras. When asked about how they felt about acquiring their class rings, students of the class of 2019 had this to say:

“I’m really glad that I got it and I think it looks so pretty!” exclaims Emily Hankinson about her ring.

“This is totally one of the coolest things I’ve ever done with my class” says Ashton Evans.
